IllinoisVENTURES
IllinoisVENTURES, LLC was created to catalyze the creation and accelerate the early development of technology-based companies, with a particular emphasis on those deriving from research conducted at the University of Illinois and other regional research institutions.

University of Illinois Technology Entrepreneur Center (TEC)
The Center's mission is to encourage innovation and technology commercialization in a three-faceted program of curriculum, research, and public engagement. The Center offers on-site and on-line courses through the department of General Engineering, as well as support of the M.S. and Ph.D. in Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering and certificate programs for professional development.

The Academy of Entrepreneurial Leadership
The Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership offers entrepreneurial programs, services, and resources to faculty and graduate students on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. The Academy is funded by a grant from the Kauffman Foundation with matching funds from the College of Business and other academic units, the University of Illinois, and private donors.

So, you want to start a business of your own? The State of Illinois assembled information from across state government to help you get your business up and running. From developing your business plan to registering your business, these links will help explain what resources are available and what your responsibilities are as a new business owner.

The CCEDC is a public-private partnership dedicated to fostering a cooperative, county-wide approach to economic development. We coordinate with a number of other key organizations in the area to promote an environment in which business thrives.

Chesterbrook Academy

The Chesterbrook Academy serves the Urbana/ Champaign Community with a quality preschool program that is conveniently located on The University of Illinois Campus. In addition to serving employees at the Research Park, this new Chesterbrook Academy preschool will also be convenient for University of Illinois workers, as it will be located close to the park-and-ride lots for the University. Enrollment for the new school is open to the public.
