The University of Illinois Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST www.cnst.uiuc.edu) had participated in some of the discussions and events preceding the passage of House Science and Technology Committee National Nanotechnology Initiative Amendments Act.  During the period COE Dean Ilesanmi Adesida, MNTL Director Rashid Bashir, and CNST Associate Director Irfan Ahmad, participated in the discussions at the Hill.
